This term is by far my busiest in a while. 16 hours of school. 30 hours of work a week. Some days never end, and some days make me resent that I love books.
Thus far, I have reread A Tale of Two Cities, read Heart of Darkness and also To the Lighthouse. That's just for one class. Another has consisted of A Pagan Place, The Dubliners, countless Irish poems and fictional short stories.
Well, that being said, I can mark two more stories off my list... Just as the list has been revised and re-released. I do hope that they have added and changed for the best. Maybe I should revisit the whole purpose of reading all of the books on this list...... I know that I did say screw it, but now... Now, I'm thinking otherwise.
Left on my list for this term of classes involves: 1984, Atonement, The Poor Mouth, and The Stones in His Pockets. Summer will bring a whole new list of books for a class on British Women Writers, and another on the American Short Story.
Now, I'm off to read an essay on totalitarianism by Hannah Arendt. And another 6 short stories by various Irish authors.
